We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our high-performing Endoscopy Unit within the Perioperative Services Department at our Fitzroy campus.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position (76 hours per fortnight) and an exciting opportunity for an emerging or experienced nurse leader to play a key role in the daily operations of our Endoscopy Unit.

Working alongside a supportive and experienced leadership team, you will help drive clinical excellence, lead and mentor staff, manage your allocated portfolio, and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide clinical and operational leadership within the Endoscopy Unit.
  • Support the day-to-day management of the department.
  • Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team.
  • Foster a positive, safe and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Build strong relationships with medical specialists and key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development.
  • Assist with workforce planning, resource management and budget responsibilities.
  • Promote excellence in patient-centred care.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum three years' recent experience within the Operating Theatre/Endoscopy environment.
  • Previous ANUM or leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in budget planning and resource management.
  • Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) are highly desirable.
  • Current National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain).
