Create your best future and join Westpac as a Senior Manager, BT Compliance
What’s the role?
As Senior Manager, BT Compliance, you'll play a key role in helping BT Financial Group (Westpac’s wealth management division), navigate an evolving regulatory environment while protecting customers and supporting sustainable business outcomes. Based in Sydney or Adelaide with a permanent full-time opportunity available, you'll be a senior leader within BT’s second-line Compliance function, setting strategic compliance priorities, embedding a strong risk culture, providing oversight, guidance and challenge across a broad range of compliance activities.
Working closely with senior leaders, risk teams, Legal, Regulatory Affairs and business stakeholders, you'll help ensure compliance and conduct frameworks, policies and obligations are effectively embedded across BT. You'll play a lead role in completing complex compliance assessments, support regulatory inquiries and investigations, provide compliance advice, and drive readiness for regulatory change.
This is a role where you'll influence outcomes, build strong partnerships and help shape a proactive risk culture. You'll also support and coach a high-performing team of compliance and risk professionals, creating an environment where people can grow, collaborate and do their best work.
What do I need?
You'll bring strong compliance, risk and stakeholder engagement skills, along with the ability to make sound decisions in a complex environment.
