Description

Create your best future and join Westpac as an Analyst, ESG Disclosure and Reporting

What’s the role?

You’ll support how Westpac prepares and shares its sustainability and ESG disclosures. Sitting within Investor Relations in Group Finance, you’ll help collect, analyse and validate data that underpins public sustainability reporting, while strengthening the controls and governance behind it.

Working closely with teams across finance, risk, sustainability and data, you’ll coordinate inputs, resolve gaps and help ensure disclosures are clear, accurate and ready for external release. You’ll also contribute to peer analysis and support continuous improvement in how sustainability information is reported, including mandatory climate disclosures.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll build practical ESG reporting experience, gain exposure to senior stakeholders, and contribute to high‑profile publications such as Westpac’s Sustainability Report.

This is a permanent, full‑time role based in Sydney, with flexible working arrangements and some additional hours during peak reporting periods.

What do I need?

You’ll bring a proactive mindset and enjoy working with data and stakeholders, with:

  • Experience working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using Excel
  • Ability to coordinate inputs and manage multiple deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity and interest in ESG, sustainability or public reporting
