Description

Create your best future and join Westpac as a Senior Analyst, ESG Disclosure and Reporting

What’s the role?

You’ll play a hands‑on role in shaping how Westpac tells its sustainability story. Sitting within Investor Relations in Group Finance, you’ll support the preparation of external sustainability disclosures and help strengthen the data, governance and controls behind them.

You’ll work closely with teams across the bank to coordinate inputs, analyse data, and make sure disclosures are accurate, consistent and ready for public release. This role gives you exposure to senior leaders, regulators and external stakeholders, while contributing to high‑profile reporting such as the Sustainability Report and climate disclosures under Australia’s new mandatory requirements.

This is a permanent, full‑time role based in Sydney, with flexible working arrangements and some additional hours during peak reporting periods.

What do I need?

You’ll bring a practical, detail‑focused approach to reporting and collaboration, along with:

  • Experience delivering high‑quality work in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments
  • Strong analytical skills, including confidence working with data and Excel
  • Ability to coordinate stakeholders, manage inputs and resolve gaps
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity and interest in sustainability, ESG or public reporting
