We’re seeking a Senior ESG Analyst with a strong finance or accounting foundation who is ready to step into a broader, more strategic role. This position is ideal for a an experienced ESG Analyst who has exposure to and experience in climate, emissions and carbon assessments and reporting in a property, construction or infrastructure-related industry and is looking to apply those skills in an ESG function.
This role will deliver a blend of financial analysis, data review, stakeholder engagement and reporting. You’ll play a key role in preparing Levande for mandatory climate-related reporting under the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS), while supporting our Science-Based Targets (SBTi), Sustainability-Linked Loan (SLL) obligations and leading our annual emissions assurance process
Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, you will work closely with Finance, Property, Operations and Energy teams to deliver high-quality, decision-useful ESG insights.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting in the preparation of ESG and climate-related disclosures, including Scope 1–3 emissions, aligned with ASRS and SBTi.
Manage and validate ESG and climate data across energy, procurement and operational systems to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
Engage with village teams, providing data insights and enhancing data collection processes
Support climate-related risk and opportunity analysis within business planning and budgeting processes.
Contribute to board, investor and lender reporting, including supporting assurance and compliance documentation.
About You
You are a commercially minded analyst with a strong grounding in finance, data and reporting, with experience in climate and sustainability related reporting. You enjoy working with complex datasets, understanding how numbers connect to real assets and operations, and translating analysis into clear insights.
You will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline (CA/CPA highly regarded but not essential)
Experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, with exposure to climate, emissions and/or carbon accounting and reporting within the property, construction, infrastructure or energy related sectors
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets and reconciliations
Experience building models, performing variance analysis and producing senior-ready reports
Working knowledge of or exposure to ASRS, SBTi, TCFD
A detail-oriented, curious mindset and willingness to build deeper ESG capability
Strong communications skills which facilitate value engagement across stakeholder groups
Experience with Power BI, ESG platforms, audit processes or regulated reporting environments will be highly regarded.
