As a Senior Risk and Compliance Advisor, you'll help shape a stronger risk culture across ART Life by partnering with business teams to uplift risk capability, improve controls, and support informed decision-making.
You'll act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, helping them understand their risk and compliance obligations and translating complex regulatory requirements into practical business actions. Using your analytical skills, you'll identify emerging trends, investigate control gaps, and provide actionable insights that help strengthen operational performance.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane or Sydney.
ResponsibilitiesDay to day, you'll:
- Partner with business teams to support effective management of risk and compliance obligations.
- Provide practical guidance on risk identification, assessment and control implementation.
- Analyse risk, control and incident data to identify trends, emerging risks and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a consolidated view of operational risks, controls and incidents.
- Screen, manage and report on incident and issues.Β
- Perform the investigation of recurring incidents and contribute to sustainable remediation actions.
- Coach stakeholders to strengthen risk ownership, accountability and control effectiveness.
- Interpret regulatory and policy requirements and translate them into practical business guidance.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in risk frameworks, processes and reporting practices.

- You have experience in risk, compliance, controls or advisory roles within a complex environment.
- Your stakeholder engagement and influencing skills allow you to build trusted relationships across the business.
- You'll demonstrate strong analytical capability and a proven ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- You're able to translate complex regulatory or business requirements into practical outcomes.
- You have sound judgement and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Your experience includes supporting change, uplift or continuous improvement initiatives.
- You'll bring exposure to superannuation, life insurance or regulated financial services environments.
- You're familiar with risk reporting, governance, control frameworks or incident management practices.
